The owner of Australia’s leading education provider and agency in the care industry Charlton Brown also won the Personal Services category award has had a big 12 months, opening up new training facilities in the Philippines, following the company’s expansion into Malaysia.
The award also comes after Charlton Brown won the Queensland 400 Rising Star Award in 2007, rising 175 places to 188.
Some seven other award winners were also rewarded for their outstanding business acumen:
Louise Perram-Fisk, Director of Industry Capability with Queensland Transport, won the Not for Profit/Public Sector award for her work in delivering programs alleviating skill shortages in the transport and logistics sector.
National Receivables Group’s Michelle Bubke won the Business and Finance category for her achievements across the debt collection industry.
won Manufacturing category for O’Phee Trailers ongoing growth as well as her commitment to the wider industry.
The Business and Professional Services Award was won by Lynette Galvin of Journey Family Lawyers. Lynette’s aim has been to deliver an accessible and ‘client friendly’ law firm and with firm growth to date, she plans to open up to three new firms over the next two years.
Core Architecture’s Caroline Treacy won the Property category for her achievements in doubling the size of the firm and restructuring the company to position it as the firm of choice for commercial architecture.
Janine Garrett of Charm Health won the Technology category for her software applications designed to support those with treating and caring for patients with cancer.
Del Cole from Mt Gravatt Coach & Travel was the winner of the Transport category.
