Allsafe Energy Efficient Products has experienced substantial growth in the Australian market with its release of a range of highly energy efficient solar and wind power solutions for domestic and business use.
Allsafe CEO Sean Cochrane says the move by the US Government to provide home energy rebates and tax incentives for the uptake and use of renewable energy and cleantech products in the domestic environment means a rapidly escalating demand for efficient solar and wind based products.
As a result, Allsafe has signed a joint venture agreement with the US franchise specialist firm United Franchise Group which has more than 1,400 franchises across the US.
“Over the past few years our business has grown substantially in line with the increasing awareness of alternative and renewal energy solutions. The escalating cost of traditional power sources has meant people are turning to solar and wind as an addition to existing power sources,” Cochrane says.
He says the company has developed a number of world first products which will assist consumers to reduce their power costs and their carbon emissions.
Current product offerings include: solarpower and windpower units, skylights and insulation.
‘GREEN’ JOBSThe Allsafe one-stop-shop energy efficiency stores will be branded as ‘SuperGreen Solutions’ in the USA and Canada with the first store being launched in West Palm Beach, Florida in March 2011.
“It is very exciting that a little Aussie company is going global,” Cochrane says.
“With the demand for energy efficiency products being insatiable in the Australian market, we are confident the US market will offer the same need for total green energy solutions,” he says.
Allsafe is reportedly on-track to opening its eleventh store on Australia’s east coast in the space of 18 months, with plans for 52 franchisees across the country.
Cochrane says the expanded network will provide up to 936 green jobs for the Australian economy and with 280-310 stores planned for America, expects to inject thousands of jobs into the US economy.
iPHONE APPLICATIONAs part of the expansion of Allsafe’s franchise, the company has developed a innovative iPhone application which allows people to roughly calculate their payback, dollar savings and carbon emission savings if they were to install a solar power, wind power or solar hot water unit.
The application will be launched in mid September at China’s World Solar Cities Convention, with its formal launch to the American market at the ‘West Coast Green’ Conference in San Francisco.
