Leading Queensland property developer Pradella has set its sights on the Kelvin Grove, with a three-stage master development planned for the thriving inner-city suburb.

Planned for Victoria Park Road in the heart of the Kelvin Grove Urban Village precinct, ‘Urban Edge’ will comprise three buildings with around 380 apartments on an 8,000 square metre site.

Pradella development manager Brett Lentz says the site, which is just two kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, was selected due to its close proximity to the CBD and abundance of public transport options.

“This unique site adjoins the Victoria Park golf course and the apartments will offer extensive views over adjoining parklands, the golf course, the CBD and beyond, as well as interfacing with existing educational, commercial and residential precincts,” Lentz says.

“It is within easy walking distance to multiple public transport facilities, shopping at Kelvin Grove Town Centre, QUT Kelvin Grove Campus, as well as the Caxton Street dining and entertainment precinct,” he says.

Lentz says Pradella’s track record of success in delivering quality residential developments was evident in West End where the company had been prominent for the past 10 years.

“Like West End, we believe that Kelvin Grove represents an attractive proposition for both astute investors and owner/occupiers, with strong transport connections and the lifestyle benefits that are only available in inner-city locations,” he adds.

Development approval for Urban Edge is expected within coming weeks, allowing Pradella to commence sales of the project.
