AWX is on track for another successful year in business after being named as a finalist in the BRW ANZ Private Business Awards 2010.
Ranked 113 in the
2009 Queensland 400, AWX provides contract staff, labour hire and executive recruitment across six industry sectors: construction, industrial, mining, agribusiness, health and hospitality.
AWX was listed as one of five finalists in Category 1 – Fastest Growing Private Business (turnover under $100 million).
The finalists in each category are the best of a long list of successful private businesses that during challenging economic times held their heads above water by implementing innovative and sustainable business practices.
“A strong commitment to delivering real value and providing unbeatable customer service has maintained AWX’s growth and profitability through the last financial year,” Director Tom Reardon says.
While AWX did not take out the overall category; Reardon says he is extremely proud that AWX has been recognised as a finalist standing alongside some of the most recognised brands in Australian business.
As announced late last week, Sportsnet Holidays won the Fastest Growing Private Business of the Year (turnover under $100 million) category.
Other winners include PricewaterhouseCoopers (Excellence in Community Practices and Excellence in Environmental Practices) and Porter Davis Homes (Excellence in Customer Service).
