A revolution in Australia’s motor industry could be on the way after a Yatala business imports a new lift trailer supported by funding from equipment financier GoGetta.

Australian motorists could soon be seeing the new integrated lift trailers throughout the motor industry, with potential uses including: roadside breakdown assistance, workshop repairs and even caryard displays.

McNeill’s Trailers and Sheds will this month begin promoting the integrated lift trailers, a first for Australia that both transports vehicles and lifts them into the air for display, inspection and repairs.

Owner Sandy Docherty says the equipment has the capacity to transform the industry.

“It offers mobile mechanics and roadside assistance operators a new level of safety and performance,” Docherty.

“They can genuinely take the workshop to the customer now,” he says.

UNIQUE FUNDING MODEL

GoGetta Chief Executive Officer Charles Gregory says arrival of the trailer to Australia also marks a first for the company’s unique funding model.

“This is the first time GoGetta’s equipment funding model has been tailored to suit the motoring and mechanical industry,” Gregory says.

The model originally delivered success in the hospitality industry and was recently tailored to support operators in the construction and earthmoving sectors.

Through the goRent.goGrow.goOwn model, businesses can purchase costly equipment and preserve valuable working capital.

“This means entrepreneurs like Sandy can focus on meeting the challenges of growing their business knowing they can secure the equipment they need, when they need it, in an affordable and flexible way,” Gregory adds.

Docherty says the GoGetta funding model will allow his customers access to the new lift trailer without risk.

“If the trailer doesn’t work for their business, it can be returned without penalty,” he says.
