E3! Founder and director, Vanessa Garrard, has been included in Australia’s Top Female Entrepreneur list in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Alongside Richard Chen and Jillbert Mulder, Garrard is a founder of E3!, a Brisbane-based company which sources and develop consumer electronic products for major retailers and distributors worldwide.
Not only was Garrard ranked at number 26 in the list, E3! was also the youngest company on the list and named as the fastest growing.
SmartCompany has compiled a comprehensive list of 48 of Australia’s best business women entrepreneurs; highlighting a group of women who are diverse and passionate entrepreneurs.
Also included in the list are the likes of Gina Rinehart, Therese Rein, Jan Cameron and Naomi Milgrom.
Garrard has been involved in the consumer electronics industry in the Australian market for 9 years, having worked with every major buying office in Australia and also the Hong Kong sourcing offices of Woolworths and Coles Groups in Asia.
As a Director of E3!, she is also involved in the strategic business expansion plans of E3!’s product portfolio and distributor base in Australia and Internationally.
“Being a director of a growing consumer electronics company is extremely rewarding,” Garrard says.
“The fact that I can run the business whilst raising three young children also proves that it is possible for women to lead a successful company and have a family too, we don’t have to choose one over the other. That’s not to say that it isn’t a juggling act, it is, but it is possible,” she says.
Ranked 309 in the 2009 QBR Queensland 400 - a list of the State's top privately owned companies - E3! specialise in sourcing and developing OEM consumer electronics product ranges for retailers and distributors.
Established in 2006, E3! (E3 Style) now ships to South Africa, US and New Zealand as well as every major retailer in Australia.
