VetShopAustralia has announced an internet venture with listed veterinary group
Greencross Vets.
The new endeavour, to trade under the Vetmax.com.au brand, will allow Greencross customers throughout Australia to purchase non-prescription animal health products online with delivery direct to their home and office.
VetShopAustralia Managing Director Mark Perissinotto says the business is delighted to be working with such a trusted name in veterinary services.
“Greencross is a dynamic and progressive business and we are confident that together we will be able to provide a useful and enjoyable online retail experience to Greencross customers,” he says.
Vetmax.com.au is expected to be online by the end of the month.
Australian Stock Exchange listed Greencross Vets owns Australia’s largest chain of vet clinics, with practices in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Sunshine Coast-based VetShopAustralia is privately owned by brothers Mark Perissinotto and Steven Perissinotto.
Last month the business beat out eBay, Grays Online and Ticketek to win ‘online retailer of the year’ as part of the Applications for the Broadband Economy Recognition (AMBER) Awards.
