Meat processor Teys Bros again ranked as the State’s largest private company in the 2009 Queensland 400 unveiled on Friday night.

With some 2,729 employees and annual sales in excess of $1 billion, the family owned business ranked ahead of Hutchinson Builders (2), BMD (3) and Australian Country Choice (4).

Director Geoff Teys accepted the prestigious award for the State’s largest private company before almost 500 of Queensland’s leading private company owners attending the gala 2009 Meat processor Teys Bros again ranked as the State’s largest private company in the 2009 Queensland 400 Awards unveiled on Friday night at the Sofitel Brisbane.

Other members of the 2009 Queensland 400 singled out for special awards (with 2009 rankings in brackets) were:
