Digital media company Yeahpoint scooped the pool at Sydney’s POPAI Australia and New Zealand Marketing at Retail Awards, proving the shift to digital marketing has well and truly arrived.
As the fastest growing digital media company in the Asia-Pacific, Yeahpoint has led the digital marketing revolution through custom solutions for retail giants such as SingTel, Selleys and Mars Petcare.
On October 22, Yeahpoint was recognised for its custom retail marketing solutions in the fields of digital and interactive media kiosk, digital and interactive media content, digital and interactive display solutions and healthcare retail.
Yeahpoint CEO John Anderson says with the global downturn, retailers have turned to new marketing methods to attract customers in-store and create a unique shopping experience.
“Interactive solutions are new marketing tools that are beginning to be taken very seriously by retailers,” Anderson says.
“Increasingly, we are seeing a shift away from billboard advertising and cardboard cut-outs to marketing tools that allow for customer interaction,” he says.
Yeahpoint received a gold award for its work with Singapore telecommunications company SingTel in the creation of three digital concept stores.
The stores included digital, interactive screens embedded throughout the store, from counter tops to the outdoor glass windows, which allows customers to continue shopping even after the store has closed.
Yeahpoint also received gold and silver awards for its interactive display solutions and kiosks for Selleys Sealant and Glue Advisory Centre, and a silver award for its work in developing a touch-screen hearing test with professional audiology chain Bay Audio.
