Queensland information and communication technology (ICT) companies will be able to export their products more easily with the launch a new portal.
The Export Portal of the Queensland ICT Export Network will match export-ready local ICT companies with overseas businesses, Innovation and Information Minister Paul Lucas says.
"What this will mean for Queensland companies is the opportunity to collaborate to achieve cost effective entry into overseas markets," Lucas says.
Queensland ICT Export Network is a cluster of industry and government representatives aiming to build the export supply capacity of Queensland ICT exporters by 20% over the next five years.
