One of Queensland's leading CEOs in the mining services sector, Neill Clur, was has was yesterday named 2009 Brisbane Owner Manager of the Year at the Australian Institute of Management 's regional awards function.
The award was presented by award sponsor Australia Post's State Sales Manager for Queensland, Sandra Webster.
The judges say Neill has "led his business to phenomenal growth and success".
"He has created a robust company structure underpinned by a solid strategic plan and best practice governance framework.
"He is deeply in touch with the business and its people backed up by considered performance management strategies."
Clur founded the DPSA Group of companies in 1997 and the Brisbane-based company now consists of eight companies, employing more than 300 people, across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.
He says he owes his success to a great team at the DPSA Group.
“I am very lucky to have a fantastic group of people at DPSA, and together we’ve gone a long way in achieving our vision of creating a safe, sustainable and growing company based in Queensland,” Clur says.
